Director of Technology

Kurt serves as director of technology for OPSRC. In this role, he provides technology consulting and professional development for members. His knowledge and experience covers technology use at the administration level, including broadband needs, as well as teacher and student classroom technology use.

Kurt grew up with technology, learning how to program computers as a child back when personal computers were new. In 2012, he learned how schools were using technology to enhance education. He decided to dedicate his future to helping public schools use technology effectively to engage students in their own learning. For six years, he led the education technology department at the Oklahoma State Department of Education. Kurt earned an MBA from the University of Oklahoma and a bachelor’s in marketing from Oklahoma State University. He lives in Choctaw with his wife, who is a K-12 teacher, and his three sons.
