Registered Apprenticeship Coordinator

Dr. Becky Slothower joined the OPSRC team after serving 36 years as an educator. As a career educator, Dr. Slothower has experience as a classroom teacher, school counselor, school psychologist, building/central office leader and recently served as a superintendent until retirement in 2025. In addition to her work in the K-12 landscape, Dr. Slothower has also served in the area of higher education developing graduate education programming.

Joining the OPSRC Teacher Pipeline focus, Dr. Slothower serves as the Teacher Registered Apprentice Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Southern Nazarene University, a Master's Degree from University of Central Oklahoma, and a Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University.
