Full- and Part-Time Paraprofessionals
Paraprofessionals support the classroom teacher and work with small groups of students. They cover lunch and recess duties, provide after school tutoring, and occasionally are needed to substitute in the regular classroom. They also conduct intercession camps and our after school program which targets reading and math remediation.
Applicants must meet the Title I of a High School Degree
Plus one of the following:
Option A: Hold an associate’s degree (or higher)OR
Option B: Completed at least two years (48 credit hours) of study at an institution of higher education OR
Option C: Passed the Oklahoma General Education (OGET) Test. (The state agency with authority and responsibility for administering the OGET is the Office of Educational Quality and Accountability)OR
Option D: Pass the Praxis ParaProfessional Assessment Test – Passing score is 455.
